Me and my team have created a brief 1-minute film about our first few months at Hyde Clarendon.
Firstly, we conducted a short interview wherein all of us took turns operating the equipment.
For this, we were asked to include a cut away, a jump cut and a match cut. A cut away is when you cut a scene away to another scene. A jump cut is when you jump to another scene and do not show all of the processes of the scene and a match cut is when you match one action with another. We travelled around the college, filming each of us performing a cutaway, a jump cut and a match cut each. We then went onto a computer programme called Final Cut Express. We then rendered and combined the film and implemented a song into it.
We then uploaded it into YouTube and then downloaded it onto our individual blogs. What we could either change or improve about this film is that the jump cut was too quick and the viewer cannot really see what the original cut was. Another thing that has room for improvement is that in one
